Salvationists have a dual mandate, to preach gospel and to serve suffering humanity without discrimination. The Salvation Army has always sought to keep these two priorities in balance with each other. From our early days we were both preached the gospel and cared for the homeless. It is also an important part of discipleship. Christians need to both serve suffering humanity and preach the gospel. Here are a few ways you can offer opportunities to the soldiers in your corps.
